IT WAS ALL LIA’S FAULT

Hi my name is Simona Savadori, I live in the sunny heart of Romagna in  the hills of cesenate .

I do not recall one single day without dogs!

I Grew up in the company of the beautiful hounds of my parents as well as in the show rings.

In 1992 I started working in the grooming parlor with my mum who at the time showed terriers,

A few years later she bought a giant poodle from the samarcanda breeders and from there we became good friends with mr. Giovanni Melegari,a well known breeder of bichon a poil frisee.

Mr Melegari loaned us a few of his dogs to show.

The first dog that was really mine was a beautiful deerhound ,love of my childhood bought in 1993.

Than one day in 1998 lia arrived (russian at birth but italian in heart) at my grooming parlor with

Her giant poodle, Italian Champion, and a blonde American cocker.

It was love at first sight!!

Kaki ,this was her name, stayed with me for aprox. One year so I could show her, than with great regret I had to send her back to Lia.

But damage was done!! After a few month in spring 1999 my mother came to me with Nene’(Never give up de la Vigie), allready adult and given to me by mr. Luca Giacomini.

Unfortunately though Nene’ suffered a bad form of epilepsy so I had to give up showing after many happy and satisfying shows.

By then Lia had become a dear friend and every time she came back from russia she allways brought magazines about The American Cocker, and it was on one of these mags I saw my first

American chocolate.

This was My second “love at first sight”!! I HAD to have one of those!!

In Jan 2001 Lia gave me Milka(Evelin), the first Chocolate cocker that was imported to Italy

But not the last one!!!

In the winter of 2006 Milka welped for the first time.From all of her three litters I had very

Promising puppies that get shown with success in the Italian rings, deserving lots of ecc. WELL DONE!

Lia also made me meet the ADRIRAL SHOW kennel specialized in chocolates.

Third love at first sight!

I contacted IRINA , the breeder and in september 2004 Pralina(Adriral’s show Pie of chocolate Praline), arrived my great love.

The following year Pippone(Admiral’s Special Agent ) arrived , a loving sweet blond dog and in 2007 Dagoberto(Admiral’s Show Napoleon) joined us as well a beautiful chocolate dog.

In spring 2006 Pralina welps a litter of two and I kept Luisa(Wild is the wind for kooks), my adorable black and tan bitch. Luisa welped in jan 2008 giving me the joy to breed my first chocolate litter!!!

I have to thank Irina for the beautiful cockers she always gave me and lia for letting me know such a marvelous breed.

After all it is really ALL LIA’S FAULT
